Each book is selected to reflect the rhythm of the seasons and the changing natural world. Some will be seasonal guides to what’s happening outdoors right now. Some will be filled with illustrations or photography. Some will link closely to the birds in your garden - you might receive a field guide or birdwatching book - and others will take a broader look at the natural world, from hedgerows and woodlands to urban wildlife. I will choose titles that are thoughtful, calming and often surprising – the sort of books that make you want to put your boots on and head outside, or at the very least, look out of the window a bit more often.

The more we understand, the more connected we feel – and each book is a way to deepen that connection without feeling like hard work.
