This is a really top quality mix for garden birds. Ours love their fat balls but they have been keen to scoop up this fabulous food mix. Our Robin, Buster, pinches all the mealworms from it! A pair of Jays have started to visit now as well. I put some in a feeder and some for the ground dwellers like dunnocks, robins and our pigeon Peter. They love it.
Fantastic product, exactly as described without any unwanted fillers. Great mix of suet and seeds. Feeders emptied quickly with no leftover waste. Product double layer packaged for transit. Lovely little thank you card inside.

I wanted a feeder that could feed the smaller birds in the garden without the parakeets & magpies joining the flock. This has achieved just that!

I have been using the seasonal bird food subscription bags for nearly a year now and I can honestly say that the birds love it! I have a feeder in my front cottage garden and one in the back by the patio windows and doors and they are both always full of a variety of birds. I regularly see great tits, blue tits, sparrows, a nuthatch, pair of robins, many goldfinch and greenfinch, a wren, a thrush and long tailed tits. This year there were lots of happy fledglings. I never saw this variety before using the mix and the tree the feeder hangs in is always full of a variety of birds waiting to take their turn on the feeder, delightful to watch. Minimal waste on the floor / surrounding as the birds love everything in it (unlike other cheaper mixes where the birds throw bits on the floor to eat the good bits!) and very easy for me as arrives like clockwork in the post. Highly recommend.

I really saw a difference from using a supermarket own brfand food to swopping to A Little Bird Company. As soon as I put out the Little Bird Company food, the variety of birds increased massively.
Previously mainly sparrows - which are lovely of course - we now also have blue tits, great tits, robins and a tree creeper.

over the years I have tried many different mixes in my birdfeeders. The Little Bird Co mix has been so popular that, this winter, I had to switch from monthly to fortnightly deliveries. My large feeder is pretty much emptied every day and the robins, blackbirds and wood pigeond clear up any food that drops on the ground, so no mess!

Lovely, obviously nutritious, Seasonal Mix that the birds can't get enough of! I'm so delighted that it has attracted Greenfinches, Chaffinches and Goldfinches too! I put it out on my 3 seed-catcher platforms they and others can land on easily. I also put some in a normal feeder for the birds that prefer it like that. All scoffed in no time flat!
Thank you that it is all plastic-free too! There is a real problem disposing of any plastic here in Wales.

We bought a bag of seed a couple of weeks ago and am seriously impressed. We’re having to fill up feeders every couple of days as the food is being scoffed so readily. And most days birds are on our table before I can even get back inside. The compostable packaging is also really well thought out. Will have to sign up to a subscription I think and would definitely recommend.

After years of research and testing, she devised a blend carefully adjusted throughout the year to meet the little birds’ needs. When the weather turns cold and food is scarce, our winter blend comes to the rescue. It’s a robust mix of sunflower hearts, suet pellets, chopped peanuts, dried mealworms, hemp seed, and pinhead oats to keep birds fed through frosty days.
In early spring, garden birds are pairing up and preparing for new broods. This mix includes sunflower hearts, chopped peanuts, suet pellets, dried mealworms, and oyster shell grit to boost calcium for healthy eggs.
In late spring and early summer, adult birds are busily feeding their fledglings. This blend skips dried mealworms to avoid dehydration, and features sunflower hearts, chopped peanuts, suet pellets, pinhead oats, and oil‐rich hemp seed for an extra boost.
In late summer, young birds leave the nest and adults moult their feathers, leaving them vulnerable to attack and hindering their flight. Although they may be less visible in your garden when they’re not in their feathered finest, they need our support more than ever, which is why our mix features sunflower hearts, chopped peanuts, oil-rich hemp seed for glossy feather regeneration, and a touch of suet pellets for extra energy.
