When you set up a bird food gift subscription, the recipient will receive regular deliveries of our premium bird food in your choice of 1.75kg, 4.5kg or 12.75kg bags, delivered monthly for three, six or twelve months. Each delivery includes our Monthly Titbits booklet, packed with bird features, seasonal gardening ideas, and wildlife-spotting tips to make each parcel feel special. You can choose to have the gift delivered directly to the recipient or to your own address if you’d prefer to give it in person. We’ll include a handwritten postcard with your personal message, or you can upgrade to a beautiful bird-themed greetings card for an extra-special touch. Just leave your message in the Notes section at checkout. If you’d like the first delivery to arrive on or after a specific date, simply add a note at checkout or drop us an email at info@alittlebirdcompany.co.uk and we’ll make sure everything arrives at the right time. All you need to do is choose the food size and number of deliveries, tell us where to send them, and let us know any personal details—we’ll handle the rest.

Gone are the days of deciphering what's best to feed when, or which birds to tempt in with which foods – we've done the work for you. Buy our seasonal food and receive a special blend adjusted for the time of year.
We use only premium ingredients that birds genuinely love, leaving no room for cheap filler ingredients like wheat, dari and maize that offer little nutrition and germinate beneath your bird feeder. Our bird food is waste-free and no-grow as standard, with a base of sunflower hearts, chopped peanuts and premium suet pellets.

Your recipient will receive premium bird food in their choice of 1.75kg, 4.5kg, or 12.75kg sizes, along with a monthly copy of our popular Monthly Titbits booklet. This will help them learn more about the blend and the birds to look out for. With their first order, they'll also get a handy bird spotting guide to tick off the species they spot. You can select from three, six, or twelve monthly deliveries, with payment made upfront for the entire subscription.
Once the last prepaid month is delivered, the subscription will end, and you won't be charged again.
We offer flexible delivery options to suit your needs. You can have your order sent directly to your recipient’s address, or to your own if you’d prefer to present the gift in person. If you'd like the first delivery to coincide with a special occasion like a birthday or Christmas, just include your preferred date in the Notes section or email us at info@alittlebirdcompany.co.uk and I'll do my best for you.
Some customers choose to have the first delivery sent to them for gifting, with subsequent deliveries sent directly to the recipient—just let me know in the Order Notes if that’s your preference!

Little birds need love too! When our founder, Clare, began feeding her garden birds, she noticed that while larger birds like pigeons and jackdaws were thriving, the smaller ones were all but missing. After years of research and testing, she devised a blend carefully adjusted throughout the year to meet the little birds’ needs. In early spring, garden birds are pairing up and preparing for new broods. This mix includes sunflower hearts, chopped peanuts, suet pellets, dried mealworms, and oyster shell grit to boost calcium for healthy eggs.
In late spring and early summer, adult birds are busily feeding their fledglings. This blend skips dried mealworms to avoid dehydration, and features sunflower hearts, chopped peanuts, suet pellets, pinhead oats, and oil‐rich hemp seed for an extra boost.
In late summer, young birds leave the nest and adults moult their feathers, leaving them vulnerable to attack and hindering their flight. Although they may be less visible in your garden when they’re not in their feathered finest, they need our support more than ever, which is why our mix features sunflower hearts, chopped peanuts, oil-rich hemp seed for glossy feather regeneration, and a touch of suet pellets for extra energy.
When the weather turns cold and food is scarce, our winter blend comes to the rescue. It’s a robust mix of sunflower hearts, suet pellets, chopped peanuts, dried mealworms, hemp seed, and pinhead oats to keep birds fed through frosty days.
