That depends on how many birds you get. On average, a bag lasts around 2–4 weeks in a typical garden. If you’re already feeding the birds, they’ll find the feeder more quickly and you may get through it faster. If you’re just starting out, it might take them a little while to notice their new dining spot. Either way, once they’ve discovered it, your garden will soon be on their regular rounds.

Every garden is a bit different, but you’ll soon notice who your regular visitors are, and you can note down the birds you see in the journal that comes with the standard Starter Set, or learn to recognise them with the book if you go for the set designed for children.

If you’re not happy with your purchase or it’s not what you expected, you can return it free of charge within 30 days—as long as it’s undamaged and in its original packaging.

If your product is faulty or needs a repair within the first six months, you have the right to request a repair or replacement under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
